I am flying from Chicago to London. I checked the website, but they have not mentioned a weight. Also, if I carry a laptop will it count along with the carry baggage or will be extra allowable weight? Thanks in advance for your kind responses.

How long to go thru customs, baggage claim, and check into different airline at Heathrow?

Can you answer raddar’s question about Luggage?:
I will be traveling from the US to Heathrow on british airways but will have 2.5 hour layover to transfer to Tarom Airlines to continue my journey to Bucharest. These airlines do not have a luggage transfer agreement and say I will need to go through customs, retrieve my luggage in baggage claim, and then recheck into Tarom and go through security again? Will 2.5 hours be enough time?
