Can you answer emily h’s question about Luggage?:
I am going to Las Vegas on Friday for a soccer tournament, i have a whole suitcase of soccer stuff like uniforms, shoes, jackets, my soccer ball. And i can’t afford to lose it! I know that there is a possible chance I might lose it, but I’d like to know if there is a good chance I will lose my stuff?

My next question is can you take airisole hairspray cans in a suitcase while traveling? Or will they explode?
17 Inch Laptop Bags

Luggage Feedback: you have a one in 50 chance of losing it
Luggage Feedback: there is always a chance a small one though…i travel by plane every year several times a year and have never had any problems and i pack alot of stuff…. and yes you can pack an aerosol hairspray as long as it is not on your Carry on.. and no it wont explode…
Luggage Feedback: ummm idk i traveled to baku azerbaijan 3 times in the past 4 years (baku is 1 day flight from california) and i lost my luggage all three times but they located it and gave it bake to me within a week… GOOD LUCK!!!!
Luggage Feedback: Take a chain and lock it to any fixed place while travelling. I lost my suitcase while traveling without locking it and I was talking on the cell phone and some trickister simply nabbed it away. On the cans issue you can carry them but cover them with soft material from all sides so that cushioning of the impact would prevent them from exploding.
Luggage Feedback: okay last year us airlines lost something like 5 million bags last year. that works out to about 7.5 bags lost per 1000 passengers. so there’s that.
and yeah you can take aerosol cans in your checked luggage, which is what i assume you meant. putting that in a carry on, you can but they have to be smaller than 3 oz and they have to all fit in a 1 quart ziploc bag.
Luggage Feedback: Most likely you won’t lose your suitcase. Occasionally a suitcase gets lost, but I travel a lot and only once did one of my bags not arrive when I did. It arrived the next day. And many people take aerosol spray in checked luggage, but I believe it is one of the items you are not supposed to take on a plane at all. It could be confiscated even from checked luggage, but most likely it would pass.
Luggage Feedback: Assuming you are speaking of air travel, there is a chance your suitcase, carrying your soccer uniforms, shoes, jackets, and soccer ball may be lost.
I would hope your soccer team/coach has made arrangements with a sporting goods store in Las Vegas to supply your team with shoes, and soccer balls in case yours are “lost”. Specific uniforms and jackets will probably not be available on short notice.
Airline carriers and airport security have specific guidelines about what can and cannot be placed in carry-on luggage. Regulations differ as to carry-on as opposed to luggage checked to be placed in the cargo area of airlines.
Your carry-on luggage will be checked as you go through security. Security will tell you what you cannot “carry on”. Your luggage placed in cargo may or may not be checked before it is placed into the cargo hold of your airplane.
In the event you are overly concerned about your soccer equipment being lost by the airline carrier, I suggest you have someone transport your equipment via motor transport; but, then, what guarantee do you have that someone will not hijack the vehicle transporting your equipment?
